Olga’s Oasis is a professional and compassionate counselling service led by Olga, a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. As a blind therapist and a mother of a son with autism, Olga brings a unique perspective and deep understanding to her practice. Her personal journey has equipped her with the empathy and insight needed to connect with individuals facing a variety of life challenges. Olga’s Oasis is proud to offer services eligible for NDIS payment, ensuring accessible support for those who need it.
Please note that counselling sessions are not delivered simultaneously with massage or spa treatments — they are available as a standalone service only.

At Olga’s Oasis, the primary focus is on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This evidence-based therapeutic approach helps clients embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than struggling against them. ACT encourages acceptance of what is beyond personal control and commitment to actions that enhance and enrich life.


UNDERSTANDING ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT THERAPY
ACT combines acceptance and mindfulness strategies with commitment and behaviour-change techniques to boost psychological flexibility. The six core principles of ACT include:
